We planned this trip just in two weeks and many decisions were made in last minutes.....
However, luckily all goes well and smooth in the when we reach there......
Fraser Hill is our final destination departed from Jenjarom......
Fraser Hill is located 1500 metres above sea-level in the state of Pahang on the Titwangsa Range of peninsular Malaysia. It is truly an idyllic place for 'cityguy' like us to escape from hustle and bustle of city life.
Leaving Jenjarom to Fraser Hill
Leaving Jenjarom to Fraser Hill
A total of five cars were departed from Jenjarom at 10.30am. We passed through a Kampung road and exit into Kesas Highway. From Kesas Highway, we choose to exit half way and drive further north into North South highway. Take an exit at Tg. Malim toll and heading to Kuala Kubu Bahru. Kuala Kubu Bahru is a small town and here is the entrance to the "Gap"......
"Gap" is a section of 8 km road that is only one way up and one way down road system. (So if you are travelling up/down Fraser, please take note of the Gap operating times). The road was winding..... winding and winding..... and also some land slide as well...We reach the top safely but most of us feel 'pengsan' and 1 member vomited as well...... So for those who prone to motion carsickness, please take some medicine......
Fraser hill is cloudy and misty....the weather is good but not as cold as Genting Highland or Cameron Highland. The first thing i saw once we reached the center town was the landmark of Fraser Hill- Clock tower. Without any delay, we headed to our apartment-Fraser Pine resort.
View from our apartment's balcony
Truth be told, really not much activity to do here...... SoOOO......we do nothing more than eat, sleep, and go for some sight seeing. The environment here is really a good place to relax and immerse yourself in the peace and serenity.
Check out more photos from Fraser Hill on next posting(s)......
